Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain

Paris (75)

The modular scenographic tool of the Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain occupies the former Louvre des Antiquaires, a Haussmannian building with Second Empire-style arcades inaugurated in 1855. Designed by Jean Nouvel, this “great and beautiful machine at the service of art” pushes the boundaries of scenography by integrating, on an unprecedented scale, the main lifting technologies from stage machinery. At the heart of the device: five monumental mobile platforms, designed to reconfigure the space according to the needs of each exhibition. A daring technical challenge, an extraordinary achievement, and a source of immense pride for our teams to have taken part in this project.
